Joe Cahill: Music

Regret

(Joe Cahill)
I'm sorry I ever loved you
Sorry I ever fell for you

On the day I took you in
That's when you really took me in

Chorus
Regret
Regret
Regret
Verse Two
Why'd I ever trust you
You hid away and left me feelin' blue

On the day I took you in
That's when you really took me in
Chorus
Bridge
I've had enough of your disappearing act
But don't expect me to take you back
Chorus Regret
Regret
Regret
I do regret
I do regret
I do regret I do I do I do I do

Author's Note
Regret is a Punk meets the sixties type ballad. It's a slight reference to the album title. "Disappearing act", "Vanishing Acts". I wanted a sixties type organ on the song, too and Ron Vreeland stepped in to play for us.
