This song has a simple format but is rich in fusion styles. It is punk mixed with old school R&B call and response. The talk sing format was inspired by Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground. The talking intro was John Carey's concept. We all talk during the intro and Sophy, Gordy's dog plays with her chew toy. A GREAT sound effect.
