AUTHOR's NOTE:
When I was thirty years old, I got a book for my birthday called "Wild Mind" by Natalie Goldberg. This book changed the way I look at writing and life. In the book she discusses writer's block and calls it by a differnt name; Monkley mind. This inspired my song on the 2008 CDE Politically Avante Garde. John Carey does the voice of the monkey on the intro. We had a blast rrecoreding it. I wante it to be the opener for the CED, but he suggested Stranger on St. mark's place instead. M
