This song was a creative writing assignment. I was working on an R&B song that just wasn't happening for me. Then I started work on a title I'd thought up months ago. The original song was called "Take me Back", a sixties Motown type song; but my creative writing assignment was to write a raw passionate Raeggae song. This song was much easier to write than my earlier ideas. I wrote it ina week and recorded a week later. I was working on the Kaleidoscope cD and wanted it to be a Psychedelic effort. Take me didn't fit the bill. I contemplated sending it to a Raegae band as a demo song, but, once I sang it, I knew it had to be mine and it had to be on the Kaleidoscope CD to replace the unfinished Blues song which i'd originally intended to use.
