Joe Cahill: Music
Fantasy Pictures
(Joe Cahill)
(Explostion)
Verse;
I'm receptive
To the paintings in my mind
You're deceptive
You can always be unkind
Well I'm somewhere Between a dream and Reality
Don't you disturb
My serenity
Chorus
Fantasy pictures
Fantasy pictures
Of you and me
Fantasy pictures
Fantasy pictures
How it used to be
Verse;
Do not disturb
Thought process of my Dream
Wishful fancies
With their colors
So serene
Well I'm somewhere
Between a dream and reality
Don't you disturb my serenity
Chorus
Bridge
Verse;
I'm receptive
To the paintings in my mind
You're deceptive
You can be
So unkind
Well I'm somewhere
Between a dream and reality
Don't you disturb
My serenity
Chorus
(Spoken)
Aw, these pictures are too good to throw away
I'll keep them in my scrapbook...yeah!
NOTES
The song originated with the last spoken phrase in the song: "These pictures are too good to throw away, I'll Keep them in my scrapbook." The melody came to me while I was sitting at a piano, and I picked out that minor to major chord that you hear twice in the song.
The lyrics are sort of a Zen Punk tribute.
