Joe Cahill: Bio

Joe Cahill Music Mission

Joe Cahill is a classically trained singer who became an indie Rock singer songwriter. He recorded two clasical CD's before taking the plunge into Rock music. In 2004 he released "Lost Weekends" his first offering. the hit song from this album was "I'm Blue". he followed up the next year with two CD'S: "kaleidoscope" a psychedelic EP and "Framed" a Punk album. In 2007 he went deeper into Punk with "REverberations" an EP he calls "The Record from the Urban River Styx." It was released in August of that year. Soon after, Cahill relocated to Barnegat. In October of that same year, he was hit by a car. His right shoulder was dislocated and the right knee had to be reset. Music came to a halt as he under went rehab first in a nursing home and then in outpatient physical therapy. the 2009 song "Brother Morphine" is a skewed take on the experience.
In 2008, back on his feet, cahill released the quirky "Politicallly Avant Garde". The next year he rekeased the Punk Meets Motown sounding "Back In Blue". Tired of doing only EP's and not full length albums, he released "Vanishing Acts" a Punk Fusion LP last year. Currently, he is working on his latest album due out later in 2011.This month, Joe returns to am studios to finish his latest album "Eclectic Plastic Factory".
