Joe Cahill

JOE CAHILL

BEGINNINGS
Joe started singing at an early age. As a teen, he became active in school choruses, then switching to a Folk Choir in church, to musical theatre at the Belleville High School Drama Club.
He continued to sing in college at Montclair State University, where he joined the College Choir, Madrigal Singers and Opera Workshop. He also began taking voice lesons at the age of tweny and has been studying and teaching voice ever since.
After College, he eventually became a Tenor soloist singing for such local groups as The Chorus of Communities, The Oratorio Society of New Jersey and the Bloomfield Civic Chorus.
in 1998, he branched off on hisown and became a concert singer/recording artist, releasing his first CD "BEHOLD AND SEE", the following year. Within the next four years, he'd morph into a Rock Singer-Songwriter and released the crossover album LOST WEEkEnDS in 2004. He followed up quickly with kAlEIDOSCOPE and FRAMED.
Curently, he's working on a new CD which he is co-producing with John Carey . The new EP is called REVERBERATIONS and is due for release this summer. .

LOST WEEkENDS
Cahill's third CD and first Rock Effort. iced and enginerred by Matt Chiaravalle at Spike Recording and in the apartment on East 7th Street. The album is a mix of sixties Rock, jazz, avante pop and Punk meets motwon. And the clever intellectual poetry is the story of what can happen on any Lost Weekend.
